Top tips for – Collage

If you’re looking for inspiration for things to do over this summer either for yourself or with the little ones, why not try your hand at collage? This simple art technique can be done with things you have around your house like leaflets and magazines.

You can create your own papers to use in your collage.

You could try making 3D elements like this flower.

You can use colour to highlight and emphasise particular aspects of your collage. The piece below used chalk pens, but you can use any pens, paints, chalks etc.

Try out different compositions before using glue to stick your collage together.
